Manawatu Digi Awards

I was chosen to represent GRi11 in the Manawatu Digi Awards on Monday night, our class entered a documentary about GRi11 we weren't able to win sadly but we came in the final four. Samuel Lohrey was chosen for the Supreme Award he got trophies and a blue Chromebook.

School Gala

On Sunday our school had a Gala their were tons of different stalls ranging from cultural food stalls to sweets and hot chips. Their were also lots of games like Horizontal bungee, Smash palace, Bouncy castles and Hot Rod car rides. Their was a Touch rugby tournament as well

My Holiday At Home

My Holiday At Home

In the Term 3 holidays I went to Foxton Beach with some friends we played tag in the dunes, then the tide was coming up so we had to move to the car park. I found a little hut and made it bigger.

It was my Mum and Nana's birthday so we went out to Grahams and The Verdict cafe and on Sunday we went to a Vietnamese Restaurant called Sai Gong.

Ricoh Tournament

On Friday week six our school competed in the Ricoh Tournament. The Ricoh Tournament involves six different schools competing in five different sports basketball, hockey, rugby, netball and soccer.
Each school tried their hardest to win, for College Street it was a tough battle but we came first in soccer, second in basketball, rugby, netball and hockey. After the Ricoh Tournament had finished we found out the results and College Street came out on top coming First Place.

Aussie Holiday

In the holidays I went to Australia to visit friends and family. We drove up to New South Wales straight away to visit my Nan and Pop. At my Nan and Pops I drove in our go-cart. We stayed there for six days then drove down to Melbourne City. We stayed at a friends house and went out for dinner every night to visit our old friends. We went with our cousins to a beach house in Sorrento for the weekend and we came back on Sunday night. We left to come home NZ on Tuesday morning at six am.

The Origins of MUSCLEMAN

Once a fat man named Freddy Fatso went into a lotto shop and bought a lotto ticket with the last of his money and then was so happy because he had won 5 billion dollars, from then on he decided he would be a superhero named FATMAN.

He then bought a mansion with a cave underneath for his fat cave, he also got a butler called Fatfred to take care of his mansion and the fat cave, he then went out and found some fat villains that stole cake,dough nuts, lollies and chocolate bars. FATMAN ate everything that he took off the fat villains.

One day FATMAN came across FlashBack he was much faster than FATMAN, FATMAN didn't know how to defeat FlashBack so he decided to spend billions of dollars as Freddy Fatso to become fitter and faster so he could catch FlashBack, after a month of getting fitter FATMAN was no more he was now MUSCLEMAN.

MUSCLEMAN waited until FlashBack robbed another bank then as FlashBack was getting out MUSCLEMAN pounced on him and they had an epic battle and MUSCLEMAN came out victorious. To celebrate his victory he threw a huge party at his mansion as Freddy Fatso he then told the world he was MUSCLEMAN at a press conference the following day

The map was clear, this where he would find it. He just hadn't expected that he'd have to get wet. Reluctantly, he swam out to the concrete circle. He looked down into it but couldn't see the bottom. He sighed, took a deep breath and dove in.


All Bob could see was black, luckily Bob brought a torch Bob shined it around. Bob came face to face with a strange fish, Bob gasped and swam up to the surface. This time Bob grabbed a air tank and dived back down this time Bob was determined to not stop, and get to the bottom of the pipe. When He got to the bottom Bob caught a glimpse of something glinting and Bob was like YES I have finally found the treasure of The Great Gangsta Granny

My favourite thing to do

My favourite thing to in my spare time is basketball.  I like to shoot hoops and play games. Basketball is a team sport so the team has to work together. It's lots of fun!

Mud Run Writing

Yuck that was the reaction from me when I saw the mud run. It was brown, slimy and disgusting. We started to head down to the start.

I ran to the first mud pool the mud wasn’t like mud it was more like water. I jumped into the mud and splashed everyone around me, I ran through and hopped out the other side only to find a pool of thicker and smellier mud.

I edged my way around the pool, annoyingly my friend pulled me in. I got mud in my eyes, I stumbled around and face planted into a big pool of mud. I couldn’t see anything because of the mud, so I struggled through and crashed into a tree trunk. Someone helped me get to the other side.

I was on the final stretch, I slopped forwards then all of a sudden my foot plunged into a deep hole. Great I was stuck, I plunged my hand into the mud to dig my leg out. Uh finally I got it out. Now I was determined to  get to the end, I sprinted as hard as I could, then I reached. I decided you know what I’ll do that again.

Dorm Inspection Procedure

How to have a successful dorm inspection at Green Pastures

Materials: 

• Clean freak
• Cabin mattress
• Sleeping bag
• Bags anything else

This procedure will teach you how to successfully have a dorm inspection.

1. Send clean freak/Arahan out to broom the entrance.

2. Straighten out your sleeping bag.

3. Get all your clothes and stuff them inside your bags.

4. Put shoes under bed (make sure laces are under bed to).

5. Fluff up pillow.

6. If there is any water in the shower or toilet send clean freak to mop it up with a towel.

7. Wait for the inspector.

8. When the inspector comes stand to attention

10. Do everything to please the inspectors to get the most points.

If this does not work get ready for press ups!

OPTIONAL!!!  Get the bin or something hard and place it on top of the door and open door slightly before the inspector enters. (Be warned you might lose points).
